Shipping questions. Clear answers.
DDP, DDU, tailored clothing, parcel prices and aftercare—explained around your shipment.
Duty & tax
What is included in a zenXport DDP rate?
DDP means Delivered Duty Paid. Our DDP rates include shipping and all import duties and taxes for the agreed shipment. Those import charges are arranged within the DDP service, rather than left for the recipient to pay on arrival. Optional insurance, address changes and other separately agreed services are explained before booking.
Which rates are DDU instead of DDP?
The USA DDU, China / Taiwan DDU and UAE / India DDU options exclude import duties and taxes. The recipient or importer is responsible for those charges and any applicable destination collection or clearance costs. All other published rates are DDP. The service label and booking confirmation make the distinction clear.
Does DDP make my goods exempt from customs checks?
No. DDP describes how import duties and taxes are paid; it does not remove customs checks, restrictions or documentation requirements. Customs or the carrier may still ask for accurate item descriptions, values, invoices or recipient identification.
What if my customer receives a customs payment request on a DDP shipment?
Contact Karan with the tracking number and payment request before paying it. We will check the confirmed DDP booking and the charge being requested. Correct descriptions and declared values are important; contact us before changing the contents or value after a quote.
Clothing & booking
Can I ship tailored suits, shirts and other clothing from Thailand?
Yes. zenXport offers international parcel shipping for tailored suits, dress shirts and clothing on the published routes, subject to destination requirements. Send the packed weight, dimensions, clothing description, material composition, quantity, true value and delivery country so we can confirm the service.
Can I send a small clothing order or a larger consignment?
The Economy USA rate table starts at 0.1 kg. Other services use their own published weight bands. The calculator shows the available options; if a parcel exceeds a listed band or needs several boxes, ask Karan for a confirmed quote. We do not extend prices beyond the published limits.
How should I pack a suit or clothing order?
Use a clean, protective inner bag and a sturdy outer carton. Keep garments dry, fold them carefully and fill empty space so the contents do not move around. Measure and weigh the finished package, not just the clothing. Keep photos of the goods and packing, together with invoices and production records.
What details do you need before booking?
Provide the contents and true value, packed weight and outer dimensions, the recipient’s full name, complete address with postal code, telephone number and delivery country. Let us know whether you want DDP or DDU and whether you want insurance. Additional customs documents may be needed for the destination.
How do I arrange dispatch or collection?
Contact Karan on WhatsApp or through the enquiry form to confirm the selected service and dispatch arrangements. Our Bangkok address is 338/5-7 Sukhumvit Soi 22, Bangkok 10110 Thailand. Ask us to confirm collection availability, timing and any charge for your location.
Prices & delivery
How do you find the best shipping rate for my parcel?
The calculator compares the published services for your country using your actual and volumetric weight. Compare the price, duty treatment and delivery estimate together. A lower DDU transport price excludes import duties and taxes, so it is not the same total-cost comparison as a DDP quote.
How is volumetric weight calculated?
Multiply the packed length, width and height in centimetres, then divide by 5500. We use the higher of that result and the actual weight. Each service then rounds up to its next published weight band. A compact carton can make a meaningful difference when shipping light clothing.
Are the prices refreshed from your current rate sheet?
Yes. The live website reads the Google rate sheet when the rate or pricelist page loads and again when a quote is calculated. The source-read time is shown. If current rates cannot be verified, the website shows an error rather than silently quoting an old saved rate.
How long does delivery take?
The published estimates are Economy 7–12 working days, Express usually 3–7 working days and Priority usually 2–4 working days. European Express is generally 7–12 working days; listed Asian routes may have shorter estimates. Check your chosen service. Customs, weather and carrier operations can affect timing, and delivery dates are not guaranteed.
When do I pay, and are any extra charges possible?
Full payment is required before shipment. DDP includes import duties and taxes; DDU does not. Insurance and any separately agreed services should be confirmed before dispatch. Recipient-requested delivery changes start at THB 550, and correcting an incomplete or missing address carries a THB 550 charge under the published terms.
Can I change the delivery address after booking?
Ask Karan as soon as possible. A change may not be possible after dispatch. The published starting charge for a recipient-requested delivery change is THB 550. Insurance claims may be invalid if a loss is caused by that change, so confirm the implications before proceeding.
Support & insurance
How does zenXport shipment insurance work?
Insurance is optional and must be confirmed before dispatch. For an accepted total-loss claim, including irreparable damage covered by the policy, support is provided to remake and reship the goods. The covered amount is the lower of the declared insured value and the documented cost to remake and reship. It is not a cash payout of the declared retail value.
What costs count when an insured garment must be remade?
The remake cost consists of documented production labour and the fabric or materials needed to recreate the original goods. Reshipping is included when assessing the remake-and-reship remedy. If those costs exceed the insured value, the insured value is the maximum covered amount. Keep the invoices and production evidence.
What if tracking says Delivered but the parcel was not received?
Contact Karan within 7 days of the tracking status showing Delivered so we can investigate and handle any applicable insurance claim. Include the tracking number, recipient details and a clear account of what happened. Keep the packaging, photographs and other available evidence.
Is compensation available for a shipping delay?
The shipping and insurance terms do not provide compensation for delays caused by customs, weather, carriers or other events. Transit times are estimates. We can help review the recorded shipment status and investigate the next step; this does not remove any rights that applicable law requires us to preserve.
What does the client portal show?
Existing clients can sign in to view their own recorded shipments, search and filter the list, and review shipment activity. Shipment information is read freshly from the account’s Google source. The portal shows recorded status; it is not a separate real-time carrier tracking feed.
How is my customer’s information used?
Names, addresses, contact details and shipment information are used for enquiries, delivery, customs processing, account support and required business records. We do not sell personal data.
